Shortly after losing a friend in Ypres in 1915, a Canadian doctor, Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae was inspired by the sight of poppies growing in battle-scarred fields to write his now famous poem 'In Flanders Fields', It was this poem which inspired the poppy to symbolise remembrance.

These earrings feature a 15mm poppy flower made from resin, these are very light weight making them very easy to wear. These beautiful flowers are hung from stamped .925 Sterling Silver hooks.

During the month of APRIL each year, Onyx Castle donates $10 from each purchase of our “Poppy Collection” items to the RSL ANZAC Appeal.
